Camilla Scapicchio
Education and training
Camilla Scapicchio graduate in physics with medical physics curriculum from University of Pisa in 2020 with a thesis on “Optimization and Explainability of a deep Convolutional Neural Network classifier for breast density assessment”. From 2020 till now she is a PhD student in physics with the following research program: “Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms applied to the analysis of medical images.”
Work experience
- July-October 2020 Research fellow on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence to Radiology” at the Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine of the University of Pisa. She works on the development of a standard for a database model to represent imaging and radiomics data in imaging biobank.
