Education and training

Esther Ciarrocchi graduated in Physics at the University of Pisa in 2012, and received the PhD in Physics at the University of Pisa in 2016, with a thesis titled “Cerenkov luminescence imaging: a study of its quantitative capabilities”. So far, her research interests and expertise have been mainly related to the development and characterization of detectors for medical physics applications, and to the Monte Carlo simulation of radiation interactions with biological tissues and detectors.
