DESCRIPTION

Salvatore Claudio Fanni is a board-certified radiologist and a PhD candidate in Clinical and Translational Sciences at the University of Pisa.

AREAS OF INTEREST

His major research interests are thoracic radiology, in particular quantitative CT, oncologic imaging and Natural Language Processing applications in Radiology. Salvatore Claudio Fanni is the secretary of the Imaging Informatics and Artificial Intelligence section of SIRM, member of the Young Committee of EuSoMII, of the Young Radiologists Committee of ESOI, and part of the Imaging Informatics and Artificial Intelligence section of the Scientific Editorial Board of European Radiology

PUBLICATIONS

He has published several  Pubmed indexed articles, and chapters for international publishers. He is also editor for the books “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” and “Methodology in Radiomics”.
