Ludovica Simonini is biologist and a research fellow at the University of Pisa. 

AREAS OF INTEREST

Her area of interest is focused on translational biomedical research, with particular attention to the study of complex diseases through advanced cellular models. She works on the analysis of molecular mechanisms and cellular responses to pathological conditions and pharmacological treatments, aiming to identify new therapeutic approaches, particularly within the CALLIOPE study, a PRIN 2022 PNRR project led by Dr. G.D. Aquaro. She also gained experience in managing experimental and clinical data across various studies, supporting the progression of the research.
