Lorenzo Bachi

 

 

 Education and training 

Lorenzo Bachi is a PhD student in translational medicine at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Pisa. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, electrocardiogram modeling and simulation, electrocardiogram automated analysis and machine learning.
 

 

Work experience

2020-ongoing: PhD student in translational medicine at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, working on new processing and modeling techniques for electrocardiogram processing and simulation for artificial intelligence-based applications.
2022: visiting PhD student at Lund University at the Biomedical Engineering division.
2019-2020: Postgraduate researcher at the Institute of Clinical Physiology, National Research Council of Italy, working on electrocardiographic noise detection and rejection in collaboration with the Italian company Cardioline S.p.A..
